William Eggleston

Saw Eggleston on the National Geographic Channel this morning. My attention was drawn by his obvious and yet undiscribable images. Eggleston's keen eyes on details, capture with his "democratic camera", has shown a true expression of "a picture with thousands words".

A close friend with Andy Warhol, no wonder that the press cannot really ask Eggleston to speak and explain further about his works. The answers are merely "I have never thought about it", "I don't have an answer for that", or "That is a very stupid question you've asked." A very cool old man with great attitude.

As he replied to one of the press that he photographs everyday life nowadays. What can be more precise about what a contemporary artist is.
