Monday
I decide to draw 10 sketches a day before September.A sketch from an artist is like a tool and surface for day dreaming. A sense of void help the automatical reflection of hands and mind. From sketches, I can enter all master's mind and thoughts. When I gaze at Mattisse's flowing drawing style and Picasso's chubby female figures, suddenly, I understand something, something that cannot tell through words.

18th Street Arts Center
18th Street Arts Center is in Santa Monica. My friend, Monica, told me that it has nice studio and beach. Monica told me about Sainta Monica. Ha Ha Ha. I feel like it should be a place with warm sunshine and passionate dance scense. I have not met with Clayton yet, but I think he has a delicate taste in art.

Albright-Knox Art Gallery
When I was studying in Buffalo, I liked to visit the Albright-Knox across from the street every day. I like to make friends with the artists by standing in front of their works. Oculus by Cloud Gate 2

The choreographer of Oculus(斷章) is Wu Kuo-chu (伍國柱). Part I and II are stunning and unique. Itching in heart and body expresses the awaken of desire. Repeat and fast moving body languages is the projection of one's behavior and mental images. Unique gestures of dancers are the best part I like the most. Between Part II and before the rain fall, that is the part should be revised. When the rain starts falling, dancers stand still on the stage, cameraman's accurate takes plus mind soothing music, it is like standing in front of The Angelus by Millet. This is the moment shows Wu's solid training in visual arts and aesthetics. The music and costume reminds me of Pina Bausch's Masurca Fogo. Oculus certainly shows influence from Bausch. It is true that, in some level, had created an ingenious and heart-touching piece.

Mahler Symphony no. 5

It is a nice thing to spend an evening with Moment Musical , a young musical group in Taiwan. When they are playing Mahler (1860-1911), every musician viberates tremendous love of music and devotion to the concert. In total of 5 movements in Symphony no.5, musicians and the conductor play the notes at full steam, but everyone on the stage literately takes a very interesting 10 seconds break between each movement. This is a style that I have never seen before. I am not sure if that is appropriate of not; however, every performer has showed their passion via music without doubt.
